On Monday April 8, 2024, join the Covington Parks and Recreation team at the Volpenhein Shelter in Devou Park from 2pm-4pm for a viewing of the solar eclipse. We will bring out our telescope and eclipse viewing glasses. If you would like to be guaranteed a pair of eclipse viewing glasses, you must register by Tuesday April 2, 2024. While it won't be a total solar eclipse, Covington will see a 99.7% totality at around 3:10pm. This event is weather permitting.
